Sahih Al-Bukhari covers almost all aspects of life in providing proper guidance from the messenger of Allah. All Muslim Scholars agree that Sahih Al-Bukhari is the most authentic book after the Qur’an. The Summarized Bukhari is condensed into about 1000 pages by selecting a few Ahadith from the original 9-Volume which has about 4000 pages. This book contains about 2220 Ahadith. Most of the duplicate hadith from different chains (with slight variations) have been removed and only one has been kept.
In Imam Bukhari’s ‘Al-Jami-al-Sahih’ (Sahih Al Bukhari) the Imam had recorded all the Sayings of the Prophet which he found to be genuine after thorough examination and scrutiny. He spent sixteen years in research and examined more than sixty thousand Sayings from which he selected some 7,275 Sayings whose genuineness and accuracy he established beyond the slightest doubt. Deducting duplicates, the Imam’s collection contain about four thousand distinct Sayings.
The text used for this Summary is based on Imam Zayn al-Din Ahmad ibn Ahmad al-Sharji al-Zubaydi (d. 893) the author of the abridged Sahih al-Bukhari [al-Tajrid al-Sarih].

Child education in Islam

For the purpose of worship, the Prophet admonished all Muslims to travel to only three mosques: the Haram in Holy Makkah, the Prophet’s
Mosque in Madinah, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Bayt al-Mugaddas. This book relates the true and fascinating story of the creation, installation, destruction, and eventual rebirth of the magnificent pulpit (minbar) of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from which each week the khatib (sermon reciter) would deliver his address. Salah al-Din, the great leader of the counter-crusade, had to wait twenty years before he could enter Jerusalem in 1187 CE and install the minbar of Nur al-Din Zangi in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. And eight hundred years later, Dar al-Islam had to wait almost forty years for a new minbar to replace the original one destroyed by vandalism.
Although East Jerusalem has suffered from a brutal occupation since June 1967 CE, the patient Palestinians have not lost hope that their Al-Aqsa Mosque may soon be liberated and that Muslims the world over will be able to fulfill the Prophet’s admonishment to visit it. And then, insha Allah, Muslims from every corner of Dar al-Islam will once again benefit from the Friday and `Eid sermons delivered from the most beautiful minbar.

Shaykh Saalih Ibn Saalih al-Fawzaan clarifies the issues related to Jihaad. He begins by establishing its place in the history of mankind. Essential Questions and Answers on the Salafee Methodology
In this time of political turmoil and social upheavals, many sects claim to follow the way of the Salaf, yet their actions and what they call to are contrary to what the Salaf were upon. THE PROPHET’S BIRTH
In our previous two articles, we had discussed the date of the birth of the Prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, and demonstrated that there are over half a dozen opinions, the strongest being that he was born on the 8th of Rab?? al-Awwal, in the Year of the Elephant. We also mentioned that the first recorded instance of a public celebration of the mawlid occurred in Shi’ite Fatimid Egypt, around the turn of the sixth century of the hijra. In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding: men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the wonders of creation in the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Lord! You have not created all this in vain! Glory be to You! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.”(Surat Al’Imran:190-191) We hope that this book causes its readers to think more deeply on and to feel admiration for the superior power and unequaled art of creation of Allah, Who has made all things.

Once when the Prophet Muhammad was in the Cave of Hira with the angel Jibril, or Gabriel, Jibril saw from afar that Khadija was coming towards the Cave. He said to the Prophet: “Khadija is coming here. She has brought some food and water for you.”
And then he added: “When she comes in, give her the greetings from her Lord and tell her that there will be a house made of pearls for her in Paradise where there will be neither hardship nor any clamour.”
When Khadija arrived, the Prophet said to her: “Here is Jibril. He is giving greetings to you from your Lord and he himself is greeting you.”
Khadija replied: “God is peace and He is the source of all peace! May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah. And my greeting to Jibril!”

Aisha Siddiqa (RA) – Goodword
