In this treatise, the late Syrian Shaykh, and former teacher at Dar al-Hadith in Makkah al-Mukarrmah, Muhammad Jamil Zino, points out some of the glaring ‘aqidah errors in the famous poem Qasidah al-Burdah, or The Poem of the Scarf – as it is commonly referred to in the West. The Shaykh writes in his usual simple and clear style, utilising the Qur’an and Hadith to critique certain passages authored by the author al-Busiri, in a non-biased and academic manner. The treatise also includes an introduction by the translator, Zulfiker Ibrahim Memon, a Masters student at the Islamic University of Madinah, in which he clarifies the importance of Tawhid, worshipping Allah alone and refraining from exaggerating about the Prophet ﷺ
