يحتوي على تخريج أحاديث كتاب (الروض المربع شرح زاد المستقنع) المرفوعة خاصة؛ لأنه الكتاب المتداول عند كثير من متأخري أهل العلم، ومن أسباب تأليف هذا الكتاب أن الشيخ رحمه الله تعالى كان يتمنى أن لو كان لأهل المذهب الحنبلي كتاب يخرج أحاديث الكتب المتداولة من كتب الحنابلة مثل (الروض المربع شرح زاد المستقنع) أو (شرح المنتهى) أو (شرح الإقناع)، وقد انتهى رحمه الله من تحريره في 17/7/1385ﻫ، ثم راجعه فضيلته في 14/7/1393ﻫ
