نبذة الكتاب: يقع الكتاب في (٩) تسعة مجلدات وقد خُصِّص المجلد التاسع للشمائل المحمدية. وهذا الكتاب شرح ضافٍ وافٍ لجامع الترمذي على وجازته وقلة حجمه، لا يعرف قيمته إلا من اشتغل بتدريس الجامع طويلاً، وعرف مواضع الدقة والغموض التي لا يرتاح فيها المدرس الحاذق إلى ما جاء في عامة الشروح والتعليقات، ويَتُوق فيها ويتطلع إلى ما يحلّ العقدة، ويروي الغُلَّة بكلام فصل لا فضول فيه ولا تقصير، هذا إضافة إلى فوائد في اللغة وغريب الحديث وعلم الرجال والأصول، ومقاصد الشريعة، وفيه بعض النكت واللطائف التي يعين عليها صفاء النفس وإشراق القلب والحب، وجواب للإيراد على المذهب الحنفي
