About the author: Dr. Rabi’ bin Hadi bin Muhammad bin Umayr al-Madkhali – former Graduate Studies Professor and Department Head at the Islamic University of al-Madinah was born in 1351 H/1933 CE, in the village of al Jardiyyah, approximately three kilometres west of Samitah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is from the students of Abdul-Aziz bin Baz, Muhammad Nasr ad-Din al-Albani, Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbad, Muhammad Amin ash Shanqiti, and many others. He has authored over thirty books, ranging in size and genre. From the most famous of these writings is The Methodology of The Prophets in Calling to Allah. The scholarly praise and recommendation of Shaikh al-Allamah Rabi’ is well-known and documented. He currently resides in the city of al-Madinah where he spends his time teaching, writing, issuing religious verdicts, and advising Muslims throughout the world.
