ديوان جُمع فيه قصائد الصحابيّ الجليل كعب بن مالك الأنصاري وهو من أكابر الشعراء في عصره، من أهل المدينة، وقد جاء شعره سجلاً صادقاً لحياته وجهاده في نصرة دين الله ونصرة رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) والذبّ عنه، بالإضافة إلى رثاء أبطال المسلمين وشهدائهم. وفي شعره إشارات تاريخية لبعض الأحداث الإسلامية المهمة مثل غزوة بدر وأحد وتبوك وغيرها
ولما كان الصحابة خير أهل الأرض بعد الأنبياء وكانوا أشدّ من أحبّ المصطفى (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) واختلط حب هذا الدين ونبيه بدمائهم فستجد صدى ذلك في الديوان، وستسرّ بأشعار الصحابة الذين جاء كلامهم فريداً متوهجاً بالقيم الإسلامية الرفيعة
