قصد المؤلف في هذا الكتاب رواية أحاديث بعض الشاميين، ولم يستوعب كل الرواة والمحدثين، فقد ذكر الذين رووا الأحاديث منهم من التابعين وأتباعهم، ولكنا عند مراجعة مسانيد الصحابة الذين روى عنهم الشاميون، مثل المغيرة بن شعبة، ومعاوية بن أبي سفيان، ومعاذ بن جبل، وأبي ثعلبة الخشني، من كتاب المعجم الكبير للمؤلف، فسنرى كثيرًا من الشاميين من التابعين الذين لم يرو الحافظ الطبراني أحاديثهم في كتابنا هذا.
إذن فمسند الشاميين هو مسند لبعض الشاميين، فقد خرَّج المؤلف لـ(89) منهم فقط، ومع ذلك لم يستوعب كل ما رواه عنهم كما يظهر ذلك من مراجعة معاجمه.
وقد بلغت نصوص هذا الكتاب (3556) نصًا مسندًا رتبها المؤلف على مسانيد المترجمين، وقد يذكر المؤلف بين يدي مسانيد بعض المترجمين شيئًا من ترجمة صاحب المسند

We accept returns of unopened/unused items within 30 days of delivery.
