يعتبر علم التجويد من افضل العلوم واجلها لتعلقه مباشرة بالقران الكريم الذي احكمت اياته ثم فصلت من لدن حكيم خبير. واول
من وضع علم التجويد هو الخليل بن احمد الفراهيدي وقال بعضهم ابو الاسود الدؤلي وقيل ابو عبيد القاسم بن سلام.
منشاء اختلاف القراءات: يقول ابن هاشم : ان السبب في اختلاف القراءات السبع وغيرها هو ان الجهات التي وجهت اليها المصاحف التي
كتبت في عهد الخليفة عثمان بن عفان كان بها من حمل عنه اهل تلك الجهة وتلقوا عنه القران وكانت المصاحف خالية من النقط والشكل
فثبت اهل كل ناحية على ما كانوا قد تلقوه سماعا عن الصحابة بشرط موافقة ذلك لخط المصحف العثماني.
موضوع التجويد : ان كلمات القران الكريم من حيث اعطاء الحروف حقها ومستحقها واما حيث تعليمه ةالعمل به شرعا فهو فرض عين على
كل قارئ من مسلم ومسلمة واما حكم تعلمه ففرض كفاية بالنسبة الى عامة المسلمين وفرض عين على رجال الدين من العلماء والقراء
