يحتوي على شرح العقيدة الواسطية، وهي رسالة بعث بها شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله (ت728هـ) إلى أهل مدينة واسِط، وهي رسالة مختصرة مفيدة، قليلة اللفظ كثيرة المعنى، وتعدُّ خلاصة عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة في الأسماء والصفات، وفيها فوائد عظيمة لا يستغني عنها طالب علم، مبتدئًا كان أم منتهيًا، وقد نشر مفرغًا من الأشرطة ثم راجعه فضيلة الشيخ، فأضاف ما لا بد منه وحذف ما لا يحتاج إليه، ويعد هذا الشرح من أنفس شروحات فضيلة الشيخ العلامة -رحمه الله تعالى- في العقيدة.
