يحتوي على شرح لكتاب اختاره الشيخ رحمه الله في فن أصول الفقه، وهو كتاب: (قواعد الأصول ومعاقد الفصول) لابن شمائل البغدادي (ت739هـ)، وكان الشرح ضمن الدورات العلمية في دورات الإجازات الصيفية بجامعه بعنيزة، وكانت نهاية شرح هذا الكتاب في الدورة الصيفية المنعقدة عام (1420ﻫ)، حيث توقف رحمه الله عند قول المؤلف رحمه الله في الباب الثاني من الأدلة: «كتحريم نكاح الحر للأمة لعلة رق الولد»
