Topics of the Quran

TOPICS OF THE QURAN is the first work of its kind in English. An earlier version has been printed in Urdu and has been well received internationally. It provides quick references to readers looking for guidance to understand and handle daily life problems in the light of Quranic instructions.

The book will materially assist general readers, scholars, and researchers delving deeper into the timeless message of the Quran – a code of life given by God, in succession to the three Abrahamic faiths – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It will also benefit pilgrims undertaking the journey to perform Hajj or Umrah, as an adjunct to their stay while being absorbed in prayers and reflection of the One – Allah – the sublime, the majestic, and the oft-forgiving.

Each of the 227 topics covered in the book contains the most relevant verses of the Quran, and their English translations by the two most reputable translators—Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Muhammad Asad. These are then followed by brief articles on each topic together with summaries of the relevant verses of the Quran. This makes it easier for readers to understand Quranic injunctions about each topic.
