كتاب مهم في تراجم رجال الى الحديث وهو اختصار لكتاب” تذهيب التهذيب” للذهبي، اختصر فيه المؤلف العديد من المعلومات التي لا تخدم موضوع الكتاب وأضاف بعض المعلومات الخاصة بتراجم جاءت في كتاب الذهبي مختصرة جدا لدرجة أنه لم يذكر فيها شيئا غير الاسم، فجاء الكتاب متوسطا في أسلوبه مائلا للاجاز وعدم الاطالة تسهيلا على .طالبي العلم والباحثين والقراء
