An Explanation Of The Conditions, Pillars & Requirements Of Prayer (Al Ibaanah Publications)

£21.50

The Conditions, Pillars and Requirements of Prayer by Muhammad bin Abdil Wahhab

Before you is an explanation of one of the classical works on prayer and ablution written by the Imaam and Mujaddid of the 13th century, Muhammad bin Abdil-Wahhaab, may Allaah have mercy on him.
This book: “The Conditions, Pillars and Requirements of Prayer” is a brief treatise designed for easy memorization and retaining since the author lists each point briefly followed by its proof from the Qur’aan and Sunnah.

The study and careful review of this classical work will give the reader a concise and general understanding of the basic fundamentals and legal rulings of ablution and prayer and produce students with firm knowledge of the core and subsidiary issues of prayer, which is the first thing we will be asked about on the Day of Judgement.

It is for this reason that this classical work continues to be taught today all over the world. From among the several scholars that explained this treatise are Shaykhs Muhammad Amaan Al-Jaamee and Abdul-Muhsin Al-Abbaad. In an effort to bring as much benefit as possible to the English readers, both of these explanations have been translated and included in this book.

About the Authors:

Shaykh Muhammad Amaan Al-Jaamee [1416H] and Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin Al-Abbaad are two of the well-known scholars of this century, based in Saudi Arabia, who are known for their sound knowledge, upright creed and firm methodology. Extensive biographies for each author can be found within this publication.

The Innate Rights According To Islamic Laws – Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen

£6.00

The Innate Rights According To Islamic Law

Verily from the beauty of Allah’s ‎legislation is that justice is established, and everything is ‎given its rights, without excessiveness or neglect. For indeed ‎Allah has ordered that there be justice, kindness, and ‎assisting of the relatives. Due to justice the messengers were ‎sent, the books were revealed, and the affairs of the worldly ‎life and hereafter were established. Justice is giving ‎everything its right and putting everything in its proper ‎place, and this will not be accomplished except by knowing ‎the rights so that they will be observed. Therefore, we have ‎written this speech as an important explanation of these ‎rights, so that the slave (of Allah) may do that which he ‎knows from them according to the best of his ability, and ‎this has been summarized in the following.‎

1. The rights of Allah‎ ‎2. The rights of the Prophet (sallahu allahi wasallam)‎ ‎3. The rights of the parents‎ ‎4. The rights of the children‎ ‎5. The rights of the relatives ‎6. The rights of the spouses‎ ‎7. The rights of the leaders and their subjects‎ ‎8. The rights of the neighbors ‎ ‎9. The rights of the Muslims in general‎ ‎10. The rights of the non- Muslims

The Grave : Its Torment And Its Pleasure

It is related that Abu Hurairah said: “We were walking with the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) when we passed two graves. Then he stood still and we stood with him. His color started to change and he rolled up his sleeves, so we said: ‘What’s the matter, oh Prophet of Allah?’, he said: ‘Don’t you hear what I’m hearing?’ We said: ‘What is it, oh Prophet of Allah?’ He said: ‘These two men are being severely punished in their graves for a relatively minir sin.” We said: ‘For what are they punished, oh Prophet of Allah?’ He said: ‘One of them never used to clean urine from himself, and the other used to harm the people by his speech and walk amongst the people carrying tales.’

So he called for two palm stalks and he put one into each grave. We said: ‘Will this benefit them oh Messenger of Allah?’ He replied: ‘Yes, it will lighten their punishment for as long as it remains moist.'”

Reported by Abu Hatim (3/106) in “Al-Ihsan”.

And Sheikh Muqbil declared it as “good” in “Al-Jami’ As-Sahih mimma laisa fi As-Sahihain” (2/278-279).

Divine Triumph: Explanatory Notes On The Book Of Tawheed:

The principle of Tawheed is the fundamental principle of Islam on which all other principles, rules and pillars are based. The aspect of Tawheed emanates from the Shahada ‘There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His servant and Messenger’. It is this declaration that forms the dividing line between Iman (belief) and Kufr (disbelief).

Book Of Emaan

£14.50

Book Of Emaan:

According To The Classical Works Of Shaikhul-Islam ( Ibn Taymiyah )

According the most noble knowledge a man can learn and teach to others is the bases of belief (emaan) and its requirements. The Best precautionary measures he can protect himself with is the knowledge of the characteristics of disbelief (Kufr), its causes and exigencies. If man has insight into these two important things, he will know the way of his happiness and follow it, and avoid the way of his misery.

In this book, we hope to elucidate the pillars of emaan and the characteristics of kufr and its causes. Allah is the one who guides us to truth. If we do right, it is only from Allah, the truth. If we err, its only from ourselves and from satan. We ask Allah to forgive us.

The Prophet’s Methods Of Correcting People’s Mistakes:

There are many teaching methods with different means and aids. Correcting mistakes is one of these teaching methods and educationalists call is the “remedial method.” Correcting people’s mistakes is essential if teaching people is the aim. Correcting mistakes is a divine method the Prophet (pbuh) practiced as the Qur’an was sometimes revealed to correct some mistakes of the Sahabah (companions of the Prophet).

Sunan Abu Dawud: English-Arabic (5 Vol. Set) (Darussalam)

£75.00

Hadith is next only to Quran as a source of Islamic laws and proofs. The term Hadith applies to the words and acts of Allah’s Messenger as well as his tacit approvals called Taqrir. The latter refers to acts done in his presence but he did not disapprove of them, his silence indicating his approval. All these three categories of Ahadith are variously known as (1) Khabar, (2) Athar, (3) Hadith and (4) Sunnah. (All these words have already been mentioned under the technical terms employed by Hadith scholars). In contradistinction with Khabar and Athar, the words Hadith and Sunnah are widely popular, so much so, that a mere mention of any of these two words, inevitably brings to mind the words, acts and tacit approvals of Allah’s messenger. No other thought comes to our mind except the foregoing at the mention of the word Hadith and Sunnah, advancing as argument the words of some scholars, but, in fact, this distinction is not right. The Hadith scholars make no distinction between the two. According to them, Hadith and Sunnah are synonymous terms. Similarly, taking Sunnah as referring to the prophet’s habits, modes of behavior and manners and thereby denying their legal authority is equally wrong. It is, in fact, a deception, a concealed escape route leading to the rejection of Ahadith. Again, in the same way, considering only the acts of the Prophet that he did persistently and uninterruptedly as binding is, in fact a rejection of vast number of Ahadith. Those who say so have indeed allied themselves with the rejecters of Ahadith. Moreover, rejecting a Hadith on the ground that it is in conflict with the Quran and entrapping people into believing so, is not the way befitting a Muslim. That is the way of the crooked, the sectarians and the dissenters who reject a lot of Ahadith on the seemingly attractive plea of being in disharmony with Quran. Two centuries after the advent of Islam, the Mutazilites rejected some Ahadith. Their purpose was to justify their wrong and misleading beliefs. Likewise, about a century and a half ago, the naturalists, too, criticized the canonical authority of Ahadith, their purpose being no more than to affirm naturalism and reinterpret Quran according to their own desires and whims. It is the sme group of naturalists who, impressed in our times by the ‘rare research works’ of the Orientalists and charmed by the wizards of the West and their civilization, are working in an organized way to alienate the Muslims from their own culture and Islamic values and traditions and are molding them according to modern civilization. Anyhow, the term Hadith or Sunnah applies to whatever the Messenger of Allah said, did, or gave his tacit consent to.

English Translation Of Sahih Muslim (7 Volumes ) (Darussalam)

£105.00

Sahih Muslim, the most authentic book of Hadith after Sahih al Bukhari contains 7,563 Ahadith. It has been agreed by the Muslim Scholars that all of the Ahadith in Sahih Muslim are authentic. Thus, the benefit of publishing the full version of Sahih Muslim in the English language with excellent presentation was realized by Darussalam. A lot of care has been taken in rendering these Ahadith into a clear and simple style of modern English.

This excellent-quality version of Sahih Muslim has been verified by Dar-us-Salam Publications widely. Its translation has been checked many a times in order to avoid mistranslating and misinterpreting of ahadith which is been done by the recent translators due to their lack of understanding of the Arabic language or to rush the product in the markets. Unlike other publishers which keep you thinking about the meaning of ahadith, the words which are not clear have been explained in the brackets. In case where the term cannot be explained in the brackets, there are footnotes at the bottom of the page. This version of Dar-us-Salam is good in the sense that it starts off by drawing a life sketch of Imam Muslim and then goes on with the introduction of Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim himself in which he explains the points of differences between different narrators and level of trustworthiness.

In this version the text is in Arabic side by side so you have access to both English and Arabic at the same time which makes it different from other publishers. Also, the book regarding reporting from the trustworthy narrators have been placed first while other books follow it. Moreover, the Arabic text contains all the narrators while the English only mentions the champion. Lastly, keeping in mind the tradition of high quality printing, this version of Sahih Muslim by Dar-us-Salam Publications is second to none other and made to last a long time, Insha Allah.

About Sahih Muslim Book of Hadith

The collections of Bukhari and Muslim from the authentic ahadith are outstanding in respect to both chain of transmissions and the texts as well as their general utility in which they gave guidance in almost all walks of life. The Hadith scholars admired and acclaimed these collections so much that they themselves produced works containing the same Ahadith as found in the collection of both Bukhari and Muslim but with their own independent chains which consists of a lesser # of sub-narrators and called their works Mustakhraj.

Imam Muslim is one of the foremost preservers of ahadith of the Prophet. According to majority of scholars, his book comes second only to Sahih al Bukhari in terms of authenticity. According to some Hadith scholars it is considered to be better than Sahih Bukhari in terms of organization and repetition. It is the second in the collection of 6 books called “Sihah Sittah” or “6 most authentic books”. Painstaking efforts were been taken by Imam Muslim in preserving the words/actions/sayings & approvals of the Prophet. He has mostly used 4-5 narrators in the chain of transmission although there are a couple of hadith containing 3 narrators. Imam Muslim was a very good student of Imam Bukhari and some of his Shuyukhs, although he did not narrate from Imam Bukhari too much, thus reducing the # of narrators.

LIFE AND TIMES OF THE MESSENGERS:

The exact number of prophets and messengers sent by Allah is not known, but the Qur’an makes clear that all of the prophets were sent to various nations to preach Islamic monotheism. Muslims believe that all the Divine Messengers ? including those in common with Judaism and Christianity ? conveyed the same message of true monotheism and submission to the one God, Allah. Belief in these prophets and messengers is an essential part of the Islamic faith and Muslims do not differentiate between them, according them all the same respect and reverence.

Men and The Universe-Reflections of Ibn Al-Qayyem

£15.00

This book was originally a section of Ibn Al-Qayyim’s book Miftaahu Daar is-Sa’aadah (Key to the Abode of Happiness). This section was extracted from it due to its discussion of some of the Signs of Allah in the human beings and the universe. Also, Ibn Al-Qayyim’s book was chosen due to its perceptive and meaningful wisdom. Another outstanding characteristic of this book is that Ibn-Al-Qayyim calls for the use of the intellect and self-introspection. He encourages the reader to deeply think about the creation of Allah, the Most High — in the human being, existence, animals and nature. The complier, Capt. Anas Abdul-Hameed Al-Qoz, supports the writing of Ibn Al-Qayyim (Qayyem/Qayim/Qayem/Qayum/Qayyum) by mentioning modern scientific discoveries, useful notes and beneficial pictures that help achieve the objective. Thus, this book is a continuous and active call to all of mankind to look and reflect upon the Signs of Allah if they want the truth and sincerely wish to follow it.

We will show them Our Signs in the universe and in themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.

The Benefits of Fearing Allah

£3.00

The Benefits Of Fearing Allah :

Fearing Allah is the shield for us and our families in this life, for whoever fears Allah then he is protected. It is from amongst the best provisions for a believer, benefiting him in this world, easing his affairs for him, protecting him from Shaytaan, causing him to enjoy high station in the world, as well as east and good tidings at the time of death. Fearing Allah is a treasure which each one of us should seek as the virtues, blessing and fruits attached to it are vast, indeed the advice which Allah has given his servants from the time of Adam up until now, has been to have taqwa (fear of Him).

The pious predecessors (salaf) did not stop giving mutual advice for having taqwa (fear) of Allah in their sermons, their corresponding letters and their testaments after the Messenger of Allah passed away.

Ranks of the Fearful (P/B)

£5.00

ranks of the fearful :

Allah, the Most High, has praised those who possess the attribute of a heightened sense of fear Saying,
“And such (are the believers) who are humbled by the fear of their Lord…” [Al Muminun, 57]

The element of fear exists within mankind in varying degrees. When the fear of Allah is established in the hearts, it eliminates wrongdoing and attachment to worldly desires. It is a light that navigates a person through sin and temptation, and when this fear is removed, it easily leads them astray – for surely true and praiseworthy fear is being vigilant from transgressing the limits of Allah. Yet when fear exceeds its proper boundary, it gives rise to hopelessness and despair, which is equally blameworthy. The attribute of fear therefore, is not the end goal itself, but a means towards a successful end.

And He also Said: “… fear Me alone, if you are believers.” [Ali’ Imran, 175]

‘Al-Khawf ‘ is from the smaller works of Imam Ibn Qudamah, who is better known for authoring major authoritative treatises of Hanbali jurisprudence and doctrine. In this short book, he brings disquieting realities of fearing Allah in a unique perspective; elucidating some profound insight into the topic, its reality and merits, types and levels and cures that bring about fear. It also discusses causes that lead to a bad ending for people on this earth, while taking rooted examples from the lives of the fearful ones from among the Angels, Prophets and our righteous predecessors.
