– وقد رتَّبهُ مُصنِّفُه على الأبواب الفقهية، وأوردَ تحتَ كُلِّ بابٍ ما يُناسِبُه مِنَ الرِّوايات، مُبيِّناً وجوهَ الاختلافِ فيما بينَها، والعِلَلَ التي تَعتَرِيها، وما يَصِحُّ منها وما لا يَصِّح، كما أنَّهُ يَحكُم على الرُّواة في كَثيرٍ من المَواضِع.
– كما بَيَّن غَرِيبَ الألفاظ، ووجُوهَ الاستدلال، وأوضَحَ ما ظاهِرُهُ التَّعارُضُ بين الرِّوايات.
– وقد قام بتخريج الرِّوايات وعَزوِها إلى مكان وُجُودِها في كُتُب الأئمة، مُكتفياً في ذلك بذِكرِ القَدْرِ الذي يلتقي به سَندُ الحديث مع السَّندِ عندَه.
