«لامية العجم» للأديب المِصْقَع الطُّغْرَائي تسامي ضرتها «لامية العرب» للشَّنْفَرَى في المنزلة الأدبية والقيمة الفنية، وإن افترقا من حيث تناول الموضوعات.
ولقد حظيت «لامية العجم» في المحافل الأدبية بالاهتمام، فتناولها محبُّو الأدب بالحفظ والاستشهاد، وأشادوا بفنها وسموِّ أدبها.
وهبَّ غير واحد من المعنيين بالأدب العربي فنقَّبوا عن كنوزها، وغاصوا في لجِّها، واستخرجوا جواهرها، وأماطوا اللثام عن محيّا بلاغتها.
وكان ممن أعنق إلى تبيان ذلك الأديب المؤرخ خليل بن أيبك الصفدي، الذي سلك فيه منهج الاستقصاء والبسط.
وهو مع هذا أعنق في ذكر المِلَح والغرائب، وأضاف إلى ذلك نقل أشعار ماجنة، فاعتبر هذا الصنيع من المآخذ عليه رغم نفاسته، وودَّ الفقهاء لو خلا هذا الكتاب المفيد مما يعيب.
فقام إمامنا الدَّميري رحمه الله باختصار «شرح الصفدي» وتهذيبه؛ ليتعاظم الانتفاع بفوائد الأصل.
فجرده من الأشعار الخليعة، وحذف منه تديُّناً تلك الأقاصيص الشنيعة.
ثم إنه قام إليه ونقّحه، وهذّبه ودبّجه، واصطفى منه كل أبيات رائقة، وأدبيات شائقة، تهتزُّ لها الأفئدة فرحاً وطرباً، وتطرب لها المسامع تأثراً، فلم يدع لأحد بعده مقالاً.
وحينما عزمت دار المنهاج على إخراج هذه التحفة الأدبية إلى عالم المطبوعات، وإهدائها إلى الناطقين بالضاد.. وكّلت تحقيقها إلى لجنتها الموقرة، ذات الكفاءة العلمية والهمم العليّة، وذات الخبرة الأدبية، وسعة الاطلاع في علوم العربية، المضطلعة في هذا الفن.
فكان – ولله الحمد والمنة – أن تمَّ إخراج الكتاب في حلية التحقيق، والضبط والتدقيق، مشفوعاً بحلل فن الطباعة، ومتوّجاً بتاج الأناقة؛ لأن صفة الإتقان من أهدافها الأولية.
فإليكم عشاق الأدب هذا الكتاب يرفل في برد الجمال.

المختار للفتوى : هو أحد المتون الشتهرة المعتبرة المعتمدة في الفقه الحنفي , حوى هذا المختصر زبدة المذهب الحنفي وثمرته في أبواب الفقه كلها, بدون ذكر للدليل, مقتصرا فيه مؤلفه على مذهب الإمام أبي حنيفة النعمان, معتمدا فيه على فتواه, دون أقوال أصحابه, إلا في خمس عشرة مسألة, اعتمد فيها قول غيره من أصحابه؛ لتغير الزمان والعرف, أو بسبب الضرورة, أو المصلحة, أو التيسير, ونحو هذا, إذ قول الإمام هو المقدم المعتمد المختار للفتوى في المذهب؛ لأنه الأول والأولى, وهو الذي اختاره الفقهاء وارتضاه, كما صرح بهذا المؤلف رحمه الله.
ولهذا المختصر مكانة عظمى عن السادة الحنفية, وحظوة كبرى في مذهبهم, فهو أحد المتون الأربعة المعول عليها عندهم, المقتدى بما فيها, المرجوع إليها, الموثوق بها, التي لا يُذكر فيها إلا القول الراجح الصحيح, مع التحقيق والتدقيق, ومع إمامة مصنفها, وعلو كعبهم في حفظ المذهب واستحضاره, وجلالة قدرهم علما وعملا.
وقدر الله لهذا المتن أنه إلى الآن لم يُخدم علميا, ولم يُطبع محققا على أصول خطية, وفيه نقص كبير في طبعته المضمنة مع الاختيار بطبعاته المختلفة, مع أنه أحد أعمدة المذهب الحنفي وأركانه, وهو متداول جدا في العالم بين أيدي الفقهاء وطلابهم, في حلقهم الخاصة والعامة, بل هو مع شرحه من المقررات الدراسية على طلاب الأزهر.
وقد اعتمد المحقق حفظه الله على 17 نسخة خطية, من أقدم النسخ وأنفسها, وقد قدم المختار بدراسة شاملة عن المؤلف ونهجه في الكتاب. فكان عملا جليلا يليق بمكانة الكتاب العظيمة.

ABOUT IMAM AL-MIZZI:
He is al-Imam, al-‘Allamah, al-Muhadith, al-Hafid, Yusuf ibn al-Zakki ‘Abd al-Rahman bin Yusuf bin ‘Abd al-Malik bin Yusuf ibn ‘Ali bin Abi az-Zuhur al-Halbi, al-Mizzi ash-Shafi, born in 654 in Cyprus or Hilb. He memorized the Qur’an at early age and continued to memorize other islamic works in different sciences. His memory was so impeccable that he became popular because his veracious need to memorize and read most of the largest works in Hadith. He had well over 1000 Teachers he heard and narrated from. Imam Dhahabi said of him: ‘I have not seen in our times anyone better in memorizing than him…’. He was close companion of Ibn Taymiyya and they have narrated from eachother in various Ahadiths. He was mainly the dean of Jama’at al-Hadithiyah in Damascus. He wrote beneficial works among them:
– Tuhfah al-Ashraf: an index of the hadith contained in the Six major Hadith collections based upon the tarf, or beginning segment, of those hadith.
– Tahdhib al-Kamal fi asma’ al-rijal: a reworking of Al-Kamal fi Asma’ al-Rijal, a collection of hadith narrator biographies, later abridged and extended by Imam ad-Dhahabi as well as Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani. Among his students were Ibn Taymiya, Dahabi, al-Barzali, Ibn Sayyid al-Nas and Taqiyu Din as-Subki. He became ill and passed away short after that in 742.

What is death? Is it total annihilation? Or is it simply the severing of the soul from the body? When the soul is separated from the body, what happens to each of them? What happens to man himself, the owner of this transient body and eternal soul? Does his consciousness come to an end when his body dies? Or does his awareness continue to live on in his eternal soul? Do the dead feel enjoyment and pain the way the living do? Can the awareness of a living man whose soul is locked in his body compare with the awareness of a dead man whose soul has been released from his body’?
Naturally the answer to this last question is, No! The living are aware and the dead are aware. But there is a difference and there is no way to compare them. Death is not pure annihilation. It is merely movement from one world to another. When the dead man feels the bliss or punishment of the grave, it does not mean that he is alive in his grave, needing food, clothes and so on. Nor does it mean that his soul permeates all the parts of his body as it did when he was in this world. The soul returns to the body again in a way which is not the same as in this world so that the dead man can be questioned and tested in the grave.
