Issues the Muslim Woman Should Concern Herself With – Shaykh Abdullah al-Jaar Allah

£14.00 £11.90

All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds. I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except for Allah alone, He has no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, peace be upon him, his family and his companions. To proceed:

I decided to select single selections from my book Ath-Thammaar Al-Yaani’ah Min Kalimaat Al-Jaami’ah’_(The Ripe Fruits taken from the Comprehensive Words), issues concerning the Muslim woman towards her Lord, her religion, her temporal life, and her hereafter… I have singled out these issues to be easily referenced, light carrying, and derived from the speech of His Messenger (peace be upon him), in addition to the scholars who verified (the correct from the false).

I ask Allah, the Most High to benefit whoever reads, hears, or prints this. And I ask Him to make it sincerely for His Generous Face. May the causes of victory be the tranquility of Paradise. He is sufficient for us and the best one entrusted. There is no power or strength except by Allah the Lofty, the Great. And may Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all of his companions.

Al-Kabair (Major Sins) – Imaam Shamsu el-Deen al-Dahabi

£4.50 £3.83

The major sins are those acts which have been forbidden by Allah in the Quran and by His Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in the Sunnah (practise of the Prophet), and which have been made clear by the actions of of the first righteous generation of Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) There is some difference of opinion among scholars in this regard. Some say these major sins are seven, and in support of their position they quote the tradition: ‘Avoid the seven noxious things’- and after having said this, the prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) mentioned them: ‘associating anything with Allah; magic; killing one whom Allah has declared inviolate without a just case, consuming the property of an orphan, devouring usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.’ (Bukhari and Muslim) ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas said: ‘Seventy is closer to their number than seven,’ and in this book Imam ad-Dhahabi goes through the 70 Major Sins Supported by the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

Affection and Aversion (al-Walaa’ wa al-Baraa’) – Darussalam

£2.00 £1.70

The subject of Walaa’ (affection) for believers and Baraa’ (aversion) with disbelievers is one of the most important religious issues which is related to the Articles of Faith. Lack of this matter will certainly lead to coming out of the fold of Islam.

Unfortunately, the majority of Muslims nowadays follow and imitate disbelievers in customs, rituals and traditions which are against the teachings of Islam. It will be useful if they follow them in the field of technology and science.

This book sheds light on this topic to implant the spirit of joining and supporting the believers and warns them against the bad consequences of copying the same style of life of disbelievers.

We hope that Muslims will get benefited from it and adopt the necessary measures to act upon the orders of our religion.

Description Of The Prophet’s Prayer

£6.00 £5.10

Description Of The Prophet’s Prayer By Imam Muhammad Nasir Al-Din Al-Albani (PB)

Salah (prayer) is a fundamental act of worship and focal in Islam, its importance can never be over-emphasised. Muslim strives to perfect their prayer for it is indeed the first thing mankind will be question about by Allah on the Day of Judgment. For this reason, much has been dedicated to the prayer from the vast body of Islamic literature – from its rulings to the finer details about its characteristics etc. and it will continue to be taught and studied throughout the Muslim expanse. Sifat al-Salatun-Nabi is a renowned work of the late Imam and scholar of hadeeth, Muhammad Nasirudin Al-Albani (may Allah bestow His Mercy upon him). The original work in Arabic was a unique milestone with a fresh approach in presenting the topic – and we are proud to present before the reader, the new abridged English version of it. The intent behind the compilation of the bookwas clearly noted by the author, and he stated, “I did not come across a book (on prayer) that covered the topic comprehensively, so I felt obliged to produce a book that collected together as many features of the Prophet’s prayer (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as possible, from the takbeer (opening of the prayer) to the tasleem (concluding of the prayer)…” He further asserted his preferred methodology employed in the book, by adopting strict principles of adhering to the authentic Sunnah, and the difficult task he was faced in ensuring that. It has thus developed into a study text, and a valuable primer setting a standard in reviving the method of our prayer – and becoming a means in perfecting our servitude towards Allah in the Prophetic manner. It is our hope that this new English rendering will ensure an earnest continuation in helpingMuslims who wish to follow the guidance of their Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) in their daily worship. And that the utilisation of this work becomes a catalyst for those who truly love the Prophet (may Allah bestow His Mercy upon him) in fulfilling his command to, “Pray as you have seen me praying.”

A Description Of The Supererogatory (Sunnah) Prayers

£7.95 £6.76

O Muslim, be consistent with the regular supererogatory Prayers, imitating the excellent example of the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). As Allaah said,
“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allaah you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the meeting with) Allaah and the Last Day, and remembers Allaah much.” [Sooratul-Ahzaab 33:21]
Being consistent with the supererogatory Prayers is also a way to compensate for any fault or deficiency that transpired in the obligatory Prayers.

Man is prone to fall short and fail to achieve perfection, and therefore he is in need of something to compensate for his negligence.

For this reason – O Muslim – you cannot afford to neglect the regular supererogatory Prayers, as this will earn you extra rewards, which you will find with your Lord.

Along with every obligatory act, whether it is the compulsory prayer, compulsory fasting, compulsory zakaat or compulsory Hajj, a corresponding supererogatory act has been legislated. All of these obligations are accompanied by similar supererogatory acts that have been legislated to compensate for any flaw and to rectify any discrepancy.

The fact that Allaah has prescribed different acts of worship, so as to elevate His servants in degrees and cleanse them of their sins, is a blessing which He bestows upon them.

Furthermore, my dear brothers, you should know that performance of the regular supererogatory prayers is heavily emphasised and it is disliked to abandon them. Whoever continuously leaves off these Prayers is considered to be sinful , and according to some Imaams such a person is untrustworthy because constantly leaving off these Prayers suggests a weakness in his Religion and negligence on his part.

Matters Related To Fasting

£3.00 £2.55

Matters Related To Fasting :

Allah has blessed His slaves with certain seasons of goodness, in which hasanat (rewards for good deeds) are multiplied, sayyi’at (bad deeds) are forgiven, people’s status is raised and the hearts of the believers turn to their Lord. Those who purify themselves attain success and those who corrupt themselves fail.

One of the greatest acts of worship is fasting, which Allah has made obligatory to His slaves.

As the status of this act of worship is so high, it is essential to learn the Ahkam (rulings) that have to do with the month of fasting, so that the Muslim will know what is obligatory, in order to do it, what is haram, in order to avoid it and what is permissible, so that he does not need to subject himself to hardship by depriving himself of it.

This book is a good summary of the rulings, etiquette’s and Sunnah of fasting.

The Ruling on Abandoning The Prayer by Shaykh Salih al-Uthaymin

£2.50 £2.13

THE RULING ON ABANDONING THE PRAYER :

Indeed, many Muslims nowadays have let their prayers be lost, to the extent that some of them abandon all of the prayers out of negligence. So due to this issue, which is one of the major issues which many people have been put to trial with nowadays, and the difference of opinion concerning it amongst the scholars of this nation and its leaders, both old and new, I wished to write about it that which was easy, summarising the speech concerning it, into two sections: The first: Concerning the ruling upon the one who abandons the prayer The second: Concerning the implications of apostasy due to abandoning the prayer or other than that.

A Guide To Salat

£3.00 £2.55

A Guide To Salat :

There are many books dealing with the subject of Salat in both Arabic and Urdu. Many of these books are well written and provide an informative and comprehensive view of how Salat should be performed according to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Unfortunately, there are very few books in English which deal with the subject in the same informative and comprehensive way. The books, which do exist, have three main disadvantages:

Firstly, literature concerning Salat available in English is either so brief that it does not cover essential points in nearly enough detail, or it is so bulky and detailed that it becomes difficult to use it for quick reference, and essential points may get lost in the unnecessary detail.

Secondly, the text of the Salat lacks the quality of direct research from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). There are also books which contain material without any reference to the original sources.

Thirdly, the majority of books have been written according to the views held by certain schools of thought and for this reason some people hesitate to follow them.

Because of these weaknesses in existing literature in English, we felt that the need existed to produce a medium sized book on Salat which would approach the subject according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Prophet (pbuh), himself, said: “Pray as you have seen me praying.”

Such a book needs to contain all the essential details of Salat without being too bulky or complicated so that the reader can use it as a point of reference on a journey or at home.

It was also felt that a comprehensive book on Salat in English would be useful for converts to Islam and for such Muslims who do not fully understand Arabic and Urdu languages. Keeping in mind the needs of our brothers and sisters, every effort has been made to produce this book in simple and easy language.

During our research, we sometimes found that differences occurred between established practices in various prayer books. In these circumstances we referred to authentic Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), so that the points could be clarified as much as possible. This was, because, for a true Muslim there is no greater proof for settling arguments than authentic Ahadith and practices of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

We hope that ALLAH will accept this humble attempt because without His Support and Help we would never have been able to do this work. Finally, we ask all our Muslim brothers and sisters to study the text and to strive to offer Salat ( prayer ) according to it. If anyone finds anything unacceptable or to be against the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) we would be grateful if they would inform us.

Establish the Prayers and The Prize is Paradise

£3.49 £2.97

Establish the Prayers and The Prize is Paradise :

This is a very enlightening booklet concerning the Salat (prayer), a obligatory pillar of Islam. Salaf were very dedicated to act upon it, and they strive the Ummah (Muslim nation) to act upon this obligation. About this , Rabi’ah bin Yazid said: “For the past forty years, the caller to prayer (the Mu’adhdhin) never called the people to Zuhr prayer without me being in the mosque, except when I was ill or traveling. When Amir bin Abdullah heard the Adhan (call to prayer), while he was dying, he said: “Lead me by my hand.’ They said to him, ‘You are ill.’ He said ‘How can I hear the Mu’adhdhin, yet, do not respond to it?’ They took him by his hand, and his home was near the Mosque, and he started the Maghrib prayer behind the Imam and died upon finishing only one Rak’ah.
