What Do You Know About The Qasidah al-Burdah (The Poem of the Scarf)

£1.25

In this treatise, the late Syrian Shaykh, and former teacher at Dar al-Hadith in Makkah al-Mukarrmah, Muhammad Jamil Zino, points out some of the glaring ‘aqidah errors in the famous poem Qasidah al-Burdah, or The Poem of the Scarf – as it is commonly referred to in the West. The Shaykh writes in his usual simple and clear style, utilising the Qur’an and Hadith to critique certain passages authored by the author al-Busiri, in a non-biased and academic manner. The treatise also includes an introduction by the translator, Zulfiker Ibrahim Memon, a Masters student at the Islamic University of Madinah, in which he clarifies the importance of Tawhid, worshipping Allah alone and refraining from exaggerating about the Prophet ﷺ

Unity & The Abandonment Of Parties

£12.50

Unity & The Abandonment Of Parties:

All praise be to Allah, Lord of all that exists. I bear witness that no god has the right to be worshiped except Allah, the Guardian of the righteous. And I bear witness that Muhammad  is his slave and messenger (pbuh), his family, his slave and many salutations to them.

While many Muslims are isolated to their religion, they have been exposed to many foreign ideas. This is a dangerous issue, but what is even more dangerous is when disbelievers bring their filth of western societies to Muslims in order to deceive them and insert ideas that are normally unacceptable in Muslim societies.

More dangerous than this is the fact that those ideas are adopted and supported by streams of groups belonging to Islam, such as Ikhwaanul-Muslimeen, Hizbut-Tahreer and others. They attempt to beautify these ideas with an Islamic flavor in order to make them more palatable to the unknowing observer. Hence standing against those ideas is considered a great kind of Jihaad for the sake of Allah…

We compiled this research from a study we prepared on Democracy based on the rulings of Imaam Muqbil Ibn Haadee al Waadiee and his prominent students proving that democracy is unrelated to Islam regardless of what the carriers of this deviant ideology may bring to deceive the uninformed. Also we have preceded this research with the book “Unity & the Abandonment of Parties” by the noble Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan Ibn Abdullah al-Fawzaan to explain the unity of the Muslims…

Means of Standing Firm In Islam

£2.25

Means of Standing Firm In Islam:

Steadfastness in the religion of Allaah is a basic requirement for every sincere Muslim who wants to follow the Straight Path with determination and understanding. The present situation of the societies in which Muslims live, the types of temptation to which they are painfully exposed and the kinds of whims and desires, doubts and confusion which have caused religion to become something strand, so that those who adhere to it are religion is like one who holds on to a burning coal.

Anyone who has a brain will not doubt that Muslims today need the means of steadfastness more than their predecessors among the Salaf did, and that the effort required is greater, because of the corruption of out times, and the scarcity and weakness of brothers and supporters who could help. The Prophet (saw) gave an example of the heart, ‘The heart (qalb) takes its name from its constant changes (taqalluban alteration, variation, ups and downs). The likeness of heart is that a feather at the root of a tree, being turned over and over by the wind.’ As a later poet said, ‘He is only called insaan (man) because of his nasyaan (forgetfulness). And it is only al-qalb (the heart) because it constantly varies (yataqalib).’

Making the one stand firm who is tossed about by the winds of doubt and confusion is a serious matter, which needs tremendous means as benefits the seriousness and difficulty of the task at hand. It is part of Allaah’s mercy towards us that He has shown to us, in His Book and through the words and life of His Prophet (saw) many ways of being steadfast in Islaam.

Interpretation Of Dreams (IBN SIRIN )

£12.95

 Interpretation Of Dreams:

With an alphabetical index of the terms

Man needs to keep to some proprieties so that his  vision would be true, one of which is to get used  to say the truth according to what prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said : “the truest vision will be of one who is himself the most truthful in speech ” another is to keep  to natural disposition, for prophet Muhammad ( pbuh) used to ask his companions everyday:

“did any one of you see any vision last night ” so.they tell him the visions they saw and he interprets them. Then ,after several days, he asks them if anybody saw a vision, but no one tells him even one vision, so he says to them “how can you see vision and you nails are too long?” in fact their fingernails became long and their trimming is considered a natural disposition.moreover, sleeping while one is clean and pure is another propriety one should keep to, for Abu Dhar (may  Allah be pleased with him) said: my close friend prophet Muhammad (pbuh) advised me to keep doing three things until i die which are: fasting three days each month, performing the prayer of dawn and sleeping pure.in addition, one should   sleep on his right side so that he could see visions, for  prophet  muhammad (pbuh)was accustomed to start with the right side when doing anything.also it is narrated that he was used to sleep on his side and put his right hand under his right cheek and say :”O Lord Save me from your torment on the day when you resurrect your servants.”

furthermore ,it is narrated that  when ‘aisha (may allah be pleased with her) went to sleep ,she used to say :” O Allah! O Lord  ! ask you a vision that is true not false ,useful not harmful and memorized unforgettable. “moreover the one who goes to sleep may follow the sunna and say ” O Allah ! O lord ! seek refuge with you from having wet dreams and seeing bad dreams and from the devil that he could he play with me while sleeping or when awakening”.

How to Protect Yourself from the Fitnah of the Women

Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world’s life; but Allâh has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers, etc.) with Him.
TM Qur’an Al Imran 3:14

One of the main roots of the Islamic faith is the belief in the Unseen. It is obligatory upon every Muslim to believe in the Unseen without any shadow of doubt. The Unseen is that which is not in our sight, yet Allah and His Prophet (SAW) have informed us about it. Jinn is part of the Unseen and we must believe in their existence, following the evidence confirming it in the Qur?an and the Sunnah

As magic, trickery, lying and cheating has become widespread in the Muslim world and people have had their money taken in falsehood, by the vilest of creation, lying magicians, it has become a duty on the salafi Muslim, who has some concern for Allah deen and his sick Muslim brothers, to expose the ways of the magicians and clarify the reality of such sinful disbelievers. What encouraged me to write this booklet is the fact that these people make the haram halal, deviate from the creed of the Salaf and play with Muslims sanctified honour.

About Imam Shawkani

He was from the Zaydi school of law originally, and called for a return to the textual sources of the Quran and hadith. He viewed himself as a mujtahid, or authority to whom others in the Muslim community had to defer in details of religious law. Of his work issuing fatwas, ash-Shawkani stated ‘I acquired knowledge without a price and I wanted to give it thus. Part of the fatwa-issuing work of many noted scholars typically is devoted to the giving of ordinary opinions to private questioners. Ash-Shawkani refers both to his major fatwas, which were collected and preserved as a book, and to his “shorter” fatwas, which he said “could never be counted” and which were not recorded.

He is credited with developing a series of syllabi for attaining various ranks of scholarship and used a strict system of legal analysis based on Sunni thought. He insisted that a jurists who wanted to be a mujtahid fī’l-madhhab (a scholar who is qualified to exercise ijtihad within a school of Islamic law), was required to do ijtihad, which stemmed from his opposition to taqlid for a mujtahid.
Despite his Shiite background, he is regarded by many as a  revivalist and  has influenced contemporary Islamic movements in  the Muslim world such as the Ahl-i Hadith  and Salafi Movement . His legal decisions and discussions are frequently used in contemporary debate among Muslim scholars.
Allama Shawkani died in the year 1255 A.H.

Shaykh Abdullah Ibn Jaru Allah | Authentic Statements

If a sick person went to the doctor for treatment and was advised to avoid certain delicious foods to preserve his health, he would believe the doctor and comply with the doctor’s orders. Despite this, we see many people disobeying Allāh and His Messenger by leaving off the obligations while doing prohibited actions; although he reads and hears the commands and prohibitions. He knows the permissible and the impermissible. Therefore, is the doctor more truthful to them than Allāh, the Exalted? Or is their sickness more severe to them than the Hellfire?

Advice For The Students Of Knowledge

All?h describes divine knowledge in the Holy Qur’?n as a “Light”. Amongst the qualities of light are purity and guidance. The Holy Prophet (s) has clearly explained this concept in many blessed Ah?deeth and has also taught us many supplications in which we ask for beneficial knowledge.

It is apparent then that to acquire this true knowledge certain etiquettes and a certain character is required since All?h will not bestow His sacred divine trust upon anyone.

This book is a golden tool for every sincere student of knowledge wishing to mould his/her character and engrain those correct qualities in order to be worthy of receiving the great gift of Ilm from All?h. It contains many simple instructions, examples, accounts of some great scholars and Islamic personalities and advice from teachers who have themselves trodden the path.

Obstacles In The Path Of Seeking Knowledge

Shaykh Abd Al-Salam Ibn Burjis Ibn Nasir Al-Abd Al-Karim

This concise collection of words discusses some of the obstacles that confronts the student of knowledge with further explanation and clarification.

I have presented this advice in the form of obstacles so that it would be more likely for them to be avoided and stronger in terms of the warnings regarding them since contained in these obstacles are things that guide towards avoiding them and help to eliminate them. I have repeatedly cited narrations of the pious predecessors that are related to these obstacles so that the reader can establish a link to them and take from their biographies a personal methodology since they were more guided and more mindful of Allaah.

az-Zuhri said to Yunus ibn Yazid:
“Do not look down upon knowledge since knowledge consists of valleys. So whatever you take from it, let it be a significant portion before you convey it [to others]. And take it over days and nights. Do not take knowledge all at once.  For certainly, whoever seeks to take it all at once will lose it all at once. Instead, take it little by little over days and nights.” Jami Bayyan al-‘ilm wa Fadlihi (Vol 1 Page 104)

Descriptions Of Paradise

£3.95

Descriptions Of Paradise:

The abundance of literature on the issue of Paradise and Hellfire can hardly be overlooked. However, the problem with this literature is that it contains both authentic and weak traditions of the prophet (PBUH), and its authors were so tolerant towards the issue on the grounds that weak traditions are part of instilling in the reader a sense of desire of Paradise and fear of Hellfire. There are two arguments concerning this point: First, information on Paradise and its blessings, and Hellfire and its torment is part of the unseen (Al-Ghayb) which is at the heart of the Islamic Creed (Aqida).

Drowning Attention To Many Islamic Manhiyyat (Prohibitions)

£1.50

Drowning Attention To Many Islamic Manhiyyat (Prohibitions):

There are many things that have been prohibited in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Every Muslim is commanded to learn his deen in general and these prohibitions in particular. The Qur’an and Sunnah commands are definitely for virtues and their prohibitions are surely malicious deeds a Muslim should avoid in his everyday life.

Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) and His Messenger  (ﷺ) have prohibited everything that contains any sort of harm or evil, these prohibitions vary in their degree of evil, they are either haram (un-allowed) or Makrooh (abominable sins), which are also un-allowed even if their degree of evil is less than that of the haram and a true Muslim should avoid both.

This valuable book of Al-Munajjid like his previous book (Muharamat) is a good approach toward understanding these prohibitions of Islam and seeking the ways, the author has explained, to avoid them.

HELL-FIRE Its Torments and Denizens

£3.50

Hell Fire : Its Torments and Denizens

In all the divine revelations there is a constant warning of the Hell-Fire. Allah’s Kindness and mercy are extended to many people whether believers or disbelievers. Reading about Hell-fire enables one to know it, fear it and try utmost to keep oneself away from it through good deeds. The more one knows about Hell-Fire, the more he/she strives to save from its reach. This book enables the reader to know the real picture of Hell-Fire’s torment from the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah texts.

It is enough to know that it is a fire, but detailed knowledge of it, as displayed in this book, will strengthen one’s belief and, eventually, make him/her seek salvation.

Description of Paradise in The Glorious Qur’an

£13.50

Description of Paradise in The Glorious Qur’an

Description of Paradise in The Glorious Qur’an Writing about Paradise is of great importance in view of its significance in the belief of a Muslim. This belief makes him eligible for enjoyment of the bliss and the happiness of the Hereafter. It is not a belief that is limited to the life of this finite and ephemeral world only as compared to the everlasting Hereafter. Rather, it is a great creed that links the life of man in this world to that of the Hereafter so that his vision will not be restricted to this world alone but extends to the Hereafter. Belief in Paradise is one of the fundamentals of faith. The Messengers of ALLAH, blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him, was asked about faith and he answered, ” Faith is to believe in ALLAH, in His Angels, in His Books, In his Messengers and in the Last Day; and to believe in pre-decree, its good and bad.”
