Book Of Emaan
£14.50Book Of Emaan:
According To The Classical Works Of Shaikhul-Islam ( Ibn Taymiyah )
According the most noble knowledge a man can learn and teach to others is the bases of belief (emaan) and its requirements. The Best precautionary measures he can protect himself with is the knowledge of the characteristics of disbelief (Kufr), its causes and exigencies. If man has insight into these two important things, he will know the way of his happiness and follow it, and avoid the way of his misery.
In this book, we hope to elucidate the pillars of emaan and the characteristics of kufr and its causes. Allah is the one who guides us to truth. If we do right, it is only from Allah, the truth. If we err, its only from ourselves and from satan. We ask Allah to forgive us.

I have chosen the name of my book (Branches of Al-Iman: ‘Faith’) since it covers a number of valuable subjects related to the highest act of worship particularly At-Tawheed and other considerable supplementary topics especially the Salah, Az-Zakah, Hajj, Etc. and various other important matters which every Must know and for every freethinking and broadminded human being whose goal is to find the truth. It includes the main classification of religion and mankind, then brief discussion about the true nature of Islam and finally illustrates in a fluent style inclusive of the branches of Faith. These have been supported by proofs from the Holy Book (The Qur’an) and the Sunnah (Legal Ways) of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and other reliable sources. Although literature review in terms of references written by great scholars are essential. I have tried to justify the arguments presented in my book by relying basically on the identification of the words of Allah and the analysis of the Prophets Sunnah.

At-Tawassul (Using A Means To Seek Allah’s Help) – Darussalam
£3.00At-Tawassul (Using A Means To Seek Allah’s Help):
Actually, the topic of Tawassul (using a means to seek Allah’s help) is one of the controversial issues among Muslim nation that has not been understood in its due perspective, and which proved hostility and hatred among different groups.
Muslims are supposed to rely on the understanding of Salaf (Prophet and his Companions, the second generation after them, and the third generation after). These are the best generations as the Prophet (S) told us.
I regret to say that only a few number of Muslims adhere and follow the way of Salaf regarding this subject while a lot of them deviated from the right way and fell into the stagnant pool of innovations and superstitions.
The author really clarified this topic by mentioning the proofs and evidences which support the three types of the allowed Tawassul and at the same time answered the suspicions and confusions surrounding this matter.
May Allah guide Muslims to the proper understanding and practice of the allowed Tawassul

Drowning Attention To Many Islamic Manhiyyat (Prohibitions)
£1.50Drowning Attention To Many Islamic Manhiyyat (Prohibitions):
There are many things that have been prohibited in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Every Muslim is commanded to learn his deen in general and these prohibitions in particular. The Qur’an and Sunnah commands are definitely for virtues and their prohibitions are surely malicious deeds a Muslim should avoid in his everyday life.
Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) and His Messenger (ﷺ) have prohibited everything that contains any sort of harm or evil, these prohibitions vary in their degree of evil, they are either haram (un-allowed) or Makrooh (abominable sins), which are also un-allowed even if their degree of evil is less than that of the haram and a true Muslim should avoid both.
This valuable book of Al-Munajjid like his previous book (Muharamat) is a good approach toward understanding these prohibitions of Islam and seeking the ways, the author has explained, to avoid them.

Belief In Allah In The Light Of The Qur’an And Sunnah
Original price was: £12.00.£6.00Current price is: £6.00.Belief In Allah In The Light Of The Qur’an And Sunnah:
Although the vast majority of mankind believers in a creator or Supreme Being, their concepts vary. Islam, in the Qur’an and Sunnah, affirms the existence and oneness of the Creator and describes Him as Having the most perfect attributes, thus enabling man to have the proper concept of Him and to establish a strong bond with Him based on the understanding of His sublime attributes. But the influence of philosophy and other ideas that are alien to Islam led to the emergence of distorted concepts about Allah. In this book, Dr. ‘Umar S. al-Ashqar discusses the wrong ideas that have crept into Muslim minds concerning Allah and His attributes, and highlights the face that the only correct way to understand the verses of the Qur’an and the ahaadeeth which speak of Allah and His attributes is the way in which they were understood by the first generation of this ummah (the salaf). Dr. Al-Ashqar also examines modern concepts, such as the theory of evolutuion, and proves that they are wrong and false. Following the Qur’anic injunction to ponder the signs of Allah in the universe, he also pays attention to the stuff of natural phenomena which clearly point to the existence and Oneness of the Almighty Creator. Thus Dr. Al-Ashqar affirms the principle which lies as the heart of Islamic faith and practice, namely Tawheed, the Absolute Oness of the Divine.

At a time when Muslims think twice before looking into the Qur’an for answers to their problems, I hope that this book of relevant life lessons from the Qur’an (that I was in immense need of during my teen years) will allow the Muslims of the 21st century to recognize the greatness of this miracle from God, and prevent them from making the same mistakes that I made during my life. Islamic Creed Series 5
From the moment an individual is conceived in his mother’s womb, until his death and beyond, angels play a part in human life. Angels bring forth the soul of the dying and they bring comfort or inflict torment in the grave. An angel will sound the Trumpet on the Last Day, and angels will be present on the Day of Judgment until they accompany people to their ultimate destination in Paradise or Hell.
Almost all human cultures, ancient and modern, have some kind of belief about angels. The pre-Islamic Arabs believed them to be daughters of the Almighty. Some philosophers thought that angels were the stars in the sky. In modern times, there has been a resurgence of interest in angels, and they feature prominently in movies and other forms of popular western culture. But these myths have no role to play in the belief of the Muslim.
Our beliefs are based on the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, which tell us all we need to know about the reality of the unseen, including the world of the angels. In this book, Dr. Umar S. al-Ashqar draws on the sources of Islam to give us a comprehensive picture of which the angels are their role in the universe and their interaction with mankind in this world and the next.

The Fundamentals of Tawheed
£9.00 – £12.00The Fundamentals of Tawheed :
Tawheed, the belief in the Oneness of ALLAH, is the core of the Islamic faith. Humans, as the designated vicegerents of ALLAH on earth, have been ordered to put this belief into practice in every aspect of life. Without tawheed, our actions and worship would be rendered null and void.
This is an awful truth, but one that we must realize so that we can correct the basis of what we think, say, and do, in order to receive the hoped-for rewards and to avoid a terrible punishment. Dr. Philips gives us the information necessary to recognize the practices that go against tawheed so that we may change any mistaken patterns of thought or behavior and approach ALLAH in the way that He loves and wants from us.

Should A Muslim follow A particular Madhhab?
£2.99Should A Muslim follow A particular Madhhab:
In this book, the author has widely described the main principle of Taqleed. He says that Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (saw) have not ordered us to follow any opinions and interpretations. So there is possibility of being correct or incorrect in the opinions, because there are many issues on which Imams had different views and they explained them according to their own reasons and speculations, but the real and true Islam is based on the Book (Quran) and the Prophet’s SUNNAH. Allah says: “But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith until they make You judge in all disputed matters between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decision, and accept them with full submission.” And the Prophet (SAW) said: “I leave with you two things as long as you hold them tightly, you will never go astray: they are the books of Allah and my Sunnah.” In this sense the author has described the difference between different Madhahib, and their views and urged to follow only the Quran and the Sunnah,

Exemplary Principles Concerning The Beautiful Names Of Allah
The pristine beliefs of the early Muslims are preserved in this vitally important masterpiece written by one of the most outstanding scholars of our time.
Seven clear principles and their evidences from the Book and the Sunnah guide the reader through the confusion and false claims of the ignorant to the clarity of belief in Allah’s Names accomplished by the righteous early scholars of Islam.
Seven more principles and their evidences follow, giving the reader firm understanding of the correct beliefs about Allah’s Attributes. Four more principles outline the correct approach in studying the related proofs and evidences.
All of this leads the reader into an enthralling series of refutations of the false notions of the Ash’aree sect, a text-by-text breakdown of how and why they went wrong in a careful and precise study of fifteen texts from the Book and the Sunnah. the islamic creed and its history
£10.00The islamic creed and its history :
If the Muslim was to read this book ‘The Islamic Creed and Its History’ by the noble Shaykh Dr. Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī al-Jāmī with patience and deliberation, he would never become tired of reading it, and he would learn from it the reality of Islamic monotheism (tawḥīd), and the ideologies of the sects that have falsely ascribed themselves to Islam as well as their dangers and evil effects upon confused intellects and diseased hearts. If the Muslim knew this he would renounce these sects and fight against their ideologies and those who embrace them, and he would know the path of truth and would traverse upon it without oppressing anyone from the Muslims, or other than them because the oppressor’s wrongdoing will only return back to him. In fact, if the Muslim reads this book carefully he will attain much good since it strives to correct the Muslim’s creed and it sincerely attempts to ensure that it will remain correct for the sake of ALLAH. It rectifies what is between him and ALLAH regarding his worship just as it also rectifies what is between him and the people regarding their worldly dealings. It rectifies what is between him and his own soul so he will not oppress it by exposing it to ALLAH’s punishment in the worldly life as well as the hereafter.
About the Author: The noble Shaykh, Dr. Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān said “The Shaykh, Muḥammad Amān as I know him is as follows; the people who are educated and who carry various degrees of higher studies are many. However, very few of them benefit from their own knowledge and benefit others with it. Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī is from those rare examples of scholars who downplays his own level of knowledge, and efforts to benefit the Muslims and direct them through calling to Allah upon foresight throughout his time as a teacher at the University of Medinah, and during his time in the venerated Prophet’s masjid. Additionally he has travelled throughout the Muslim lands abroad as well as the various trips throughout the different regions of the Kingdom to give lessons and lectures, calling to monotheism, spreading the correct creed and directing the youth of this nation towards the methodology of the Pious Predecessors, while also warning them regarding destructive principles and deviant calls. So ALLAH reward him generously for what he knew and acted upon.

Fundamentals of the Salafee Methodology
£18.95Fundamentals of the Salafee Methodology
This treatise is taken from a lecture delivered by the great muhaddith of our times explaining the most basic fundamentals of the noble Salafee call. The lecture itself propounds Salafiyyah in a way that can be understood by the layman. A beginner?s tool such as this is currently not available in print in the English language. In addition to being an introductory guide for the beginner, the book also serves as an intermediate manual in terms of the many explanatory notes and additional appendices included within it.
The book begins by giving an overview of the importance and role of at-tasfiyah wat-tarbiyah (purification and education), which sets the stage for the reader to comprehend of the validity of that which is to follow. The author begins by explaining what is ?Salafiyyah? in conventional usage, its well known position towards the bigoted following of madhaahib and the difference between merely affiliating oneself to the Book and the Sunnah; as opposed to actually acting upon that. The author goes onto discuss the obligation of taking the Salaf as an example, categories of the Sunnah and the reality of Salafiyyah. Then this is compared to the present condition of the Muslims along with giving an explanation as to why so much differing and splitting has occurred. Lastly, there occurs a detailed discussion about some of the most prevalent doubts upon Ahlus-Sunnah today, such as those from amongst the Mu?tazilah who deny the khabrul-aahaad (singular narration) and the Ashaa?irah and their likes who attribute tashbeeh (resembling Allaah to His creation) to Ahlus-Sunnah, whilst themselves performing ta?weel (figurative interpretation) and ta?teel (denial) of the Attributes of Allaah. The later part of the book is devoted to a biography of Imaam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee, his discussion with the head of al- Azhar concerning the issues of taqleed and the madhaahib and an exposition of standard Ash?aree doubts upon Ahlus-Sunnah and their creed. In a time of severe confusion and corruption, this treatise is sure to be a beacon of enlightenment and a pure spring from which all those desiring true guidance can drink.
Means of Standing Firm In Islam
£2.25Means of Standing Firm In Islam:
Steadfastness in the religion of Allaah is a basic requirement for every sincere Muslim who wants to follow the Straight Path with determination and understanding. The present situation of the societies in which Muslims live, the types of temptation to which they are painfully exposed and the kinds of whims and desires, doubts and confusion which have caused religion to become something strand, so that those who adhere to it are religion is like one who holds on to a burning coal.
Anyone who has a brain will not doubt that Muslims today need the means of steadfastness more than their predecessors among the Salaf did, and that the effort required is greater, because of the corruption of out times, and the scarcity and weakness of brothers and supporters who could help. The Prophet (saw) gave an example of the heart, ‘The heart (qalb) takes its name from its constant changes (taqalluban alteration, variation, ups and downs). The likeness of heart is that a feather at the root of a tree, being turned over and over by the wind.’ As a later poet said, ‘He is only called insaan (man) because of his nasyaan (forgetfulness). And it is only al-qalb (the heart) because it constantly varies (yataqalib).’
Making the one stand firm who is tossed about by the winds of doubt and confusion is a serious matter, which needs tremendous means as benefits the seriousness and difficulty of the task at hand. It is part of Allaah’s mercy towards us that He has shown to us, in His Book and through the words and life of His Prophet (saw) many ways of being steadfast in Islaam.

Treasure from the Treasures of Paradise
£4.00treasure from the treasures of paradise :
Allah, The Most High, Said, “The men who remember Allah often and the women who do so – for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.” [Al-Ahzab, 35] He also Said, “O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance, And exalt Him morning and afternoon…” [Al-Ahzab, 41] Al-Bukhari recorded a report from AbuMusa al-Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) who narrated that the Messenger of Allah said, “The example of a person who makes dhikr of his Lord and a person who does not, is like that of a living and a dead person.
” Making dhikr (remembrance of Allah) has a lofty place in the Din of Islam and is inherently inscribed in the souls of the believers; for it is from the greatest acts of worship and provides enumerable fruits and benefits in this life and the next.
Dhikr is distinguished with many virtues through its perfect meanings, beautiful phrasings and comprehensiveness that contains depth of meaning and incorporating all types of goodness. Its wordings are concise while reflecting great reward, is easy to remember and pronounce possessing tangible effects on the body and soul. From such great adhkar the Prophet used to consistently make and encourage others regarding it, is the Hawqala, or the saying of ‘La Hawla wa la Quwwata illa Billah’. This remembrance has merits and virtues none but Allah fully encompasses – the meanings and implications of which, lead to certainty and solace through strengthening ones’ faith and connection with Allah.
This special dhikr is of such importance that the author (may Allah preserve him) saw the need to single it out in this short treatise, entitling it, “The Hawqala: Its meanings, virtues, and creedal implications”. It is hoped Muslims will focus their efforts in meaningfully utilising this phrase and making it a regular feature of their every day lives, along with other types of remembrances of Allah.

The Creed of Ibn Abi Zayd Al-Qayrawani
£10.00The Creed of Ibn Abi Zayd Al-Qayrawani :
The Creed Of Ibn Abi Zayd Al-Qayrawani By Imaam Abu Muhammad Abdullah Ibn Abi Zayd Al Qayrawani The author was asked to write a short treatise on the fundamentals of belief and creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah. This work was written in response to that request, wherein the author explains the obligatory aspects of Islam, those that should be pronounced by the tongue, believed in the heart, acted upon the limbs and acts of Sunnah related to the foundations of faith. – This detailed work covers many aspects of faith, jurisprudence and character. It commences with belief in Allah, His Names and Attributes and the applied principles in understanding them. It also discusses the Quran, seeing Allah, punishment of the grave and events that will occur therein, the Divine Decree, companions of Allah’s messenger and other important aspects of faith. He calls to following the way of the Salaf and adhering to the knowledge and guidance they left for the community. – Creed is not just mere code of belief but it has a practical role, which translates into qualities, characteristics and actions that every Muslim must adhere to and accompany. When writing this tract the author has kept the young and mature in mind, hence keeping the work very simple to read and understand – placing it ideally as an educational textbook. Knowing the creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah is compulsory for every Muslim, learning and memorising it is also an important aspect of this pristine faith. – Imam Ibn Abi Zayd Al-Qayrawani was a leading imam and an Islamic scholar from North Africa. He was an exegete and a jurist who was known as ‘little Malik’ because of his vast knowledge and expertise in the Maliki school of fiqh. He authored over thirty works on various Islamic disciplines. Imam al-Dhahabi said of him, “He, may Allah have mercy on him, was upon the way of the pious predecessors concerning the fundamentals of Islam”. He was very pious, deeply religious and steadfast in his adherence to the Sunnah.

Before you Pray By Anas Al Gawz
£1.50The Book Of Prayer: Salaat (Prayer) is one of the main obligations which Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) has ordained on His servants. It is the first act of worship decreed on the Muslim Nation (Ummah) by Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) and was ordained on the night of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) ascension to the seven heavens. It is the second of the five pillars of Islam after the proclamation of the “Shahada” (the words of witness).
We are presenting you a book which is, though, very small in size but is very big in its concept. Salat is the first obligation upon a Muslim after his testification of Allah‘s Oneness and Muhammad‘s (peace be upon him Messengership. Salat is the contentment of the heart of a Muslim and the eminence of a Believer. Salat is much more emphasized in Qur‘an than any other act.
You may have seen many books on Salat but this small book, which has a specific mention in relation with the matters before the Salat, is very useful and effective. The original book is in Arabic and is written by our friend captain Pilot Anas bin Abdul-Hameed Al-Gawz. More than 30,000 copies of this book have reached in the hands of the people, who appreciated it very much. The English translation of this book has been made by Mr. Abdul Karim Shah, former translator of Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, for which I am thankful to him.
Dar-us-Salam feels great pleasure and honour in publishing the book according to its high traditions and standards. I am specially thankful to Mr. Shakil Ahmed As- Salafi, Hafiz Abdul Matin Rashid, Mr. Azmat Ullah, and Mr. Saeed-ud-Din for the special tasks of composing, proof reading and checking it with the original Arabic book. Now this beautiful and valuable present is in your hands, please read it and pray for us all.

A lot of care has been taken in rendering these Ahadith into a clear and simple style of modern English.

English Translation Of Sahih Muslim (7 Volumes ) (Darussalam)
£105.00Sahih Muslim, the most authentic book of Hadith after Sahih al Bukhari contains 7,563 Ahadith. It has been agreed by the Muslim Scholars that all of the Ahadith in Sahih Muslim are authentic. Thus, the benefit of publishing the full version of Sahih Muslim in the English language with excellent presentation was realized by Darussalam. A lot of care has been taken in rendering these Ahadith into a clear and simple style of modern English.
This excellent-quality version of Sahih Muslim has been verified by Dar-us-Salam Publications widely. Its translation has been checked many a times in order to avoid mistranslating and misinterpreting of ahadith which is been done by the recent translators due to their lack of understanding of the Arabic language or to rush the product in the markets. Unlike other publishers which keep you thinking about the meaning of ahadith, the words which are not clear have been explained in the brackets. In case where the term cannot be explained in the brackets, there are footnotes at the bottom of the page. This version of Dar-us-Salam is good in the sense that it starts off by drawing a life sketch of Imam Muslim and then goes on with the introduction of Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim himself in which he explains the points of differences between different narrators and level of trustworthiness.
In this version the text is in Arabic side by side so you have access to both English and Arabic at the same time which makes it different from other publishers. Also, the book regarding reporting from the trustworthy narrators have been placed first while other books follow it. Moreover, the Arabic text contains all the narrators while the English only mentions the champion. Lastly, keeping in mind the tradition of high quality printing, this version of Sahih Muslim by Dar-us-Salam Publications is second to none other and made to last a long time, Insha Allah.
About Sahih Muslim Book of Hadith
The collections of Bukhari and Muslim from the authentic ahadith are outstanding in respect to both chain of transmissions and the texts as well as their general utility in which they gave guidance in almost all walks of life. The Hadith scholars admired and acclaimed these collections so much that they themselves produced works containing the same Ahadith as found in the collection of both Bukhari and Muslim but with their own independent chains which consists of a lesser # of sub-narrators and called their works Mustakhraj.
Imam Muslim is one of the foremost preservers of ahadith of the Prophet. According to majority of scholars, his book comes second only to Sahih al Bukhari in terms of authenticity. According to some Hadith scholars it is considered to be better than Sahih Bukhari in terms of organization and repetition. It is the second in the collection of 6 books called “Sihah Sittah” or “6 most authentic books”. Painstaking efforts were been taken by Imam Muslim in preserving the words/actions/sayings & approvals of the Prophet. He has mostly used 4-5 narrators in the chain of transmission although there are a couple of hadith containing 3 narrators. Imam Muslim was a very good student of Imam Bukhari and some of his Shuyukhs, although he did not narrate from Imam Bukhari too much, thus reducing the # of narrators.

£6.95Hadith : Status and Role : An Introduction to the Prophet (peace be upon him)’s Tradition
This book introduces the Hadith discipline and its development in the early period of Islamic history, up to the production of the six famous anthologies know as the Six Authentic Collections, or Al-Sihah al-Sittah. It also tackles the role of Hadith in shaping the social climate in Muslim societies. Thereby it explains the need for Hadith in any Muslim community, and the reliability of its sources. As such, it is useful to most readers, including those who are well versed in the discipline. Sayyed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi shows that without Hadith, no Muslim community can have the sort of social environment that Islam always produces.

The Complete Forty Hadith Revised Edition with Arabic Text by Imam An-Nawawi
£4.75The Complete Forty Hadith:
The Complete Forty Hadith by Imam an Nawawi Imam an-Nawawi assembled his collection of forty-two ahadith together with the absolute minimum of fiqh and commentary necessary for people not to misunderstand their import. Ibn ‘Uyaynah said, “Ahadith are misleading except to those who have fiqh.” Ibn Wahb said, “Every man of hadith who has no Imam in fiqh is astray.” Of the huge number of collections of forty hadith, the one by Imam an-Nawawi is undoubtedly the most famous and most enduring. This is, to our Knowledge, that work’s first full translation into English and so we have called it “The complete Forty Hadith” of Imam an-Nawawi.

A collection of Agreed upon Ahadith from Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Compiled by: Fuwad Abdul Baqi
About the book:
About fifty or sixty years back, the eminent religious scholar of Egypt, Muhammad Fu’wad Al- Baqi made a collection of Ahadith and named it as Al-Lu-‘lu’wal- Marjan, Fima Ittafaqa alaihi Ash-Sheikhan (The Diamonds and the Pearls on which the two Sheikh are agreed upon). The Shiekhs refer to the collection of Ahadith of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim. The Ahadith which are common in both the collections are termed as ‘Agreed upon’ and possess the highest degree of authenticity.
In fact, these Ahadith are much more than the diamonds and pearls for us from the Prophet. The scholars of Hadith have compiled the books of Ahadith after a thorough search, vast investigations, careful examinations, systematic studies and close analysis regarding their authenticity.

Indeed, many Muslims nowadays have let their prayers be lost, to the extent that some of them abandon all of the prayers out of negligence. So due to this issue, which is one of the major issues which many people have been put to trial with nowadays, and the difference of opinion concerning it amongst the scholars of this nation and its leaders, both old and new, I wished to write about it that which was easy, summarising the speech concerning it, into two sections: The first: Concerning the ruling upon the one who abandons the prayer The second: Concerning the implications of apostasy due to abandoning the prayer or other than that.

CHARITY Even With A Trifle

Charity – even with a Trifle is very enlightening booklet by Abdul Malik Al-Qasim, a renowned religious scholar. There are many Ayat, Ahadith and good advices that encourage spending in the Cause of Allah, thus opening the door wide to earning all that is good and righteous. Some are:
Sadaqah (charity) shades its giver from the intense heat then.
It makes one’s reckoning lighter.
It makes one’s Mizan (scale of good deeds) heavier. Sadaqah helps cross over the Sirat.
Sadaqah elevates one’s grade in Paradise.
It will be sufficient to encourage wise people to feel eager to give it.

A Guide To Salat
£3.00A Guide To Salat :
There are many books dealing with the subject of Salat in both Arabic and Urdu. Many of these books are well written and provide an informative and comprehensive view of how Salat should be performed according to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Unfortunately, there are very few books in English which deal with the subject in the same informative and comprehensive way. The books, which do exist, have three main disadvantages:
Firstly, literature concerning Salat available in English is either so brief that it does not cover essential points in nearly enough detail, or it is so bulky and detailed that it becomes difficult to use it for quick reference, and essential points may get lost in the unnecessary detail.
Secondly, the text of the Salat lacks the quality of direct research from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). There are also books which contain material without any reference to the original sources.
Thirdly, the majority of books have been written according to the views held by certain schools of thought and for this reason some people hesitate to follow them.
Because of these weaknesses in existing literature in English, we felt that the need existed to produce a medium sized book on Salat which would approach the subject according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Prophet (pbuh), himself, said: “Pray as you have seen me praying.”
Such a book needs to contain all the essential details of Salat without being too bulky or complicated so that the reader can use it as a point of reference on a journey or at home.
It was also felt that a comprehensive book on Salat in English would be useful for converts to Islam and for such Muslims who do not fully understand Arabic and Urdu languages. Keeping in mind the needs of our brothers and sisters, every effort has been made to produce this book in simple and easy language.
During our research, we sometimes found that differences occurred between established practices in various prayer books. In these circumstances we referred to authentic Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), so that the points could be clarified as much as possible. This was, because, for a true Muslim there is no greater proof for settling arguments than authentic Ahadith and practices of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
We hope that ALLAH will accept this humble attempt because without His Support and Help we would never have been able to do this work. Finally, we ask all our Muslim brothers and sisters to study the text and to strive to offer Salat ( prayer ) according to it. If anyone finds anything unacceptable or to be against the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) we would be grateful if they would inform us.

This is a very enlightening booklet concerning the Salat (prayer), a obligatory pillar of Islam. Salaf were very dedicated to act upon it, and they strive the Ummah (Muslim nation) to act upon this obligation. About this , Rabi’ah bin Yazid said: “For the past forty years, the caller to prayer (the Mu’adhdhin) never called the people to Zuhr prayer without me being in the mosque, except when I was ill or traveling. When Amir bin Abdullah heard the Adhan (call to prayer), while he was dying, he said: “Lead me by my hand.’ They said to him, ‘You are ill.’ He said ‘How can I hear the Mu’adhdhin, yet, do not respond to it?’ They took him by his hand, and his home was near the Mosque, and he started the Maghrib prayer behind the Imam and died upon finishing only one Rak’ah.

Prophet Muhammad is the last (end) of all prophets, who was sent to all mankind and jinn to guide them to the right path of Islamic monotheism.
The prophet (pbuh)was born in the tribe of quraish, which was held the noblest and most high-esteemed tribe among arabs, in mecca;which was regarded as the religious capital of the arabian peninsula.
prophet muhammad (pbuh) was sent by allah as awintess for allah’s true religion [islamic monotheism workshipping allah alone without associating partners with him in his dominion];as a give of glad tiding to the believers, and awarner to the disbelievers .
prophet muhammad was commissioned by allah to disseminate islam and give admonition to have good morals and exhortation against the bad manners.
every prophet was sent to his people only, apart from prophet muhammad (pbuh) who was sent to al-alamin [mankind, jinn and all that exists] to invite them all to islam, the only true religion in the sight of allah.
prophet muhammad (pbuh) must be called “the saviour of humanity ” he invited mankind to islam to admit to paradies in the hereafter and be saved from the punishment and chastisement of the hell-fire.

Explanation of the Aqeedah of the Imaam, the Reformer, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab
£13.95Explanation of the Aqeedah of the Imaam, the Reformer, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab (PAPER BACK):
So when the call to Tawheed in this land began to shine – and the praise is for Allaah – upon the hand of the Shaykh, the Imaam, the renewer: Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhaab and the dark clouds of Shirk and innovations began to disperse, there was no sympathy for the enemies of the Religion from the disbelievers, the hypocrites, the innovators and story-tellers. So they are fabricated lies against the Shaykh and against his da’wah.
So they said that Ibn Abdul-Wahhaab wants to change the Religion of the Muslims and that he came with a new Religion and that he has come to declare the Muslims to be disbelievers…So the people of al-Qaseem wrote to him to ask him about that. And this is something good, that you do not believe widespread rumours, so you write to the person to ask him about them. They wrote to him to ask him about his aqeedah, because it had been reviled amongst them and it was said that he was a man who wanted to declare the people disbelievers, to fight the people and to change the Religion of the people and other statements were said.
So the Shaykh wrote this aqeedah in order to clarify his beliefs and to prove that his aqeedah was the aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah and that he did not come with anything new and that whatever was attributed to him was a lie…

AN IMPORTANT WARNING AGAINST RIBAA
£2.99AN IMPORTANT WARNING AGAINST RIBAA USURY &INTEREST TRANSACTIONS
This is a short rebuttal of a research written by Dr. Ibraahim bin Abdullah AnNaasir, in which he tried his best to show the permissibility of most types of Ribaa (usury and interest) transactions that have appeared in recent times in the numerous financial institutions of the world. Hence, we thought English speaking Muslims would benefit from this translated response by Shaikh Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, one of the noted scholars of our time and a staunch supporter and defender of the Manhaj of the Righteous Predecessors (As-Salaf As-Saalih). Shaikh Ibn Baz’s response is a refutation of the misguided effort of Dr. Ibraahim An-Naasir to allow Ribaa transactions.

The first chapter of Abu Nu`aym’s title: Dala’il an-Nubuwwah dealing with the virtues mentioned in the Qur’an about Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Annotated in Arabic by Abu Khaliyl, translated by Sameh Strauch.
And verily, you Muhammad are on an exalted standard of character.” Qur’an, 68:4
The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.
Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Patience and Gratitude
£5.00Patience and Gratitude:
Patience and Gratitirde is an abridged translation of in the Arab world but which has been inaccessible to English-speaking of sabr (patience, fortitude) and its counterpart, shukr(gratitude), in a practical fashion which shows how these important spiritual values may be incorporated into everday life. Although written over six centuries ago, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah’s words are still relevant-perhaps more so than ever-today.
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah _1292-1350 CE) was a Muslim Scholar who lived in Damascus, Syria. He studied first under his own father, the qayyim (attendant of the school of al-jawziyyah, and then under the great scholar Ibn Taymiyyah. He compiled and authored many books, including the famous Zad al-Ma’ad(The Provision of the hereagter), and was contemparary of other leading scholars such as Ibn Kathir, Ibn Rajab, and others.

THE REASONS BEHIND DIFFERENCES OF OPINION
£2.00THE REASONS BEHIND DIFFERENCES OF OPINION:
The causes of differing are countless, among them are the following:
1. The differences between people in terms of knowledge and understanding.
2. The fact that the texts are subject to the possibility of differences in regards to words, syntax, construction, context, and so on.” – Excerpt from the book
Muhammad Hayat al-Sindi, the illustrious scholar, muhaddith of Madinah, and teacher of great scholars like Shaykhs Muhammad b. ‘Abd al-Wahhab and Muhammad b. Isma‘il al-San‘ani explains in this treatise, entitled Al-Iqaf ‘ala Sabab al-Ikhtilaf, some of the many reasons why scholars differed over Islamic rulings and issues.

THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS UPON MEN and WOMEN IN ISLAAM
£12.00The Rights and Obligations Upon Men & Women in Islaam
This new publication from the Shaykh Rabee’ Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee (May Allaah preserve him upon good), is an extraordinarily beneficial book. The Shaykh deals with the issue of the rights of men and women based on a seminar that was held by some women in Jedda, Saudi ‘Arabia who claimed their rights were withheld. This publication is a refutation upon those who make this claim, as well as a description of the rights given to men and women in Islaam, the loftiness of women’s rights in Islaam over that of those in the West, and the women of other religions such as Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism.
We hope that these comparisons will help the reader reflect upon the blessing that Allaah has truly given us. We found it shocking to see the degradation that women of disbelief endure from the deviant ones from both their homelands and religions. The Religion of Islaam is perfect, although its adherents are not. The evil that some do should not reflect upon Islaam, rather it is a deficiency of an individual(s). However, we have found that the degradation and exploitation of women of disbelief is in the roots of their belief systems, and societal practices

The exact number of prophets and messengers sent by Allah is not known, but the Qur’an makes clear that all of the prophets were sent to various nations to preach Islamic monotheism. Belief in these prophets and messengers is an essential part of the Islamic faith and Muslims do not differentiate between them, according them all the same respect and reverence.

So, to help those readers and reciters who are not too familiar with the Arabic language or cannot read Arabic, Darussalam has prepared this edition of the Noble Qur’an inserting the transliteration of the Noble verses along with their translation. It is hoped that this presentation will be of great help and benefit in this regard.
