Many know Al-Allaamah Rabee’ by name or the praise of scholars for him, but how many know his scientific career and his efforts in preaching? It is indeed this (among other things) that has earned this man his fame and high rank as well as well as his place in the hearts of the people of the Sunnah.

Shaikh Khaalid Adh-Dhafīree retraces his genealogy, his service to the religion, (his studies, his travels in search of knowledge, etc.), some of his writings, his behaviour, his patience with certain individuals who have deviated and in conclusion the praises of the greatest scholars about Al-Allaamah Rabee’.

The author said: “Since not much has been written about our Shaikh Rabee’ Ibn Haadi Al-Madkhali, neither information about him nor his travels have been collected and no book independent was dedicated to him, and considering that the sheikh has great merit over me and the followers of the Sunnah, it was obligatory for me in order to respect his right and to thank him for what he presented, to compile this book and to mention some aspects of his life, his state, his qualities, his scientific efforts and his ardor in preaching. What I will recall will only be a brief glimpse of his life from what I have gathered from what he himself mentioned in his books, his audios or what his children or his students quoted.”
