السيرة النبوية قصة المولد , قِصَّةُ المَولد مشاهدُ مُتَخَيَّرَةٌ، مكتُوبة بأسلوبٍ جَزْلٍ ، وهي تَستعيدُ أهمَّ أحداث السيرة النبويَّة التي لا يَسعُ أحدًا جَهلُها، ويندرجُ ما وردَ فيها من مُختارِ المعلوماتِ ضمنَ المعلوم من الدين بالضَّرورَةِ. وفيها صَوَّرَ الشيخ محمد الطاهر ابن عاشور بِقلمه البارع ما تنبغي معرفَتُه من أحوال النَّبي الأعظم ، حتى يَتَقَوَّى الإيمانُ بفَذاذَتِهِ، وتَشتدُّ فيه المَحبَّة. واتَّبعَ في تصويره سبيلَ الإيجاز والدقة، فَجاءت كلُّ عبارةٍ فيه حاملةً لِمعانٍ جَمَّةٍ، مُجملةٍ تَحتاج إلى فَضلٍ من التوسّع والتأليف. وتُعدُّ هذه القصَّة -على إيجازها – مِن كُنوزِ السيرة وعُيون الإنْشاءِ ومَفاخر النظر المقاصدي في التاريخ.
