This is a meticulous book, compiled by Al-Qady ’Abu Al-Fadl ‘Iyyad bin Musa bin ‘Iyyad, and comprising the incumbent duties which are due on a Muslim towards the Prophet (May Allah’s Peace & Blessings be upon him), for Allah the Supreme said concerning him: “He who obeys the Messenger [Muhammad]; has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you [O Muhammad] as a watcher over them.”
Allah made it obligatory to have belief in the Messenger ship of the Prophet (May Allah’s peace & Blessings be upon him), tread in his steps, proceed upon his manners and love him.
Thereby, the Prophet’s Companions – May Allah be pleased with them all – took the Prophet (May Allah’s Peace & Blessings be upon him) as a model example and his love was mixed with their hearts and overwhelmed their souls.
