About The Author
Dr. ‘Abdullah Nasih ‘Ulwan was born in Damascus in 1928. He studied at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, and got his BA and MA from the Faculty of Theology at Al-Azhar.
He then got his PhD in Islamic studies from Pakistan. Dr. `Ulwan taught at King Abdul-Aziz University in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
He has authored more than 30 books on different Islamic subjects, including
