THOSE WHO REMEMBER ALLAH HAVE SURPASSED OTHER

£2.00

he virtues and benefits of remembering Allah and supplicating to Him are described in the booklet from the writings of sheikh Ibn Baz. This book is a very short book which explains the merits and virtue of the remembrance [dikr] of Allah. One can read it in one setting in less than an hour. The first half of the book references verses from the Quran to explain the virtue of “dikr” of Allah. The second half of the book references ahadiths to explain the same. At the end of the book there are some ahadiths with duaa’s taught by our Prophet [PBUH] to his companions. The arabic print is very good with harakath and can be read very easily. Over all this book will be an excellent addition to a person’s collection of islamic books and will also make a nice inexpensive gift. I recommend it highly.

Respecting The Messenger of Allah – Darussalam

£6.00

In our religion the highest ever to be respected and worshiped is Allah. After Him we respect our Prophet; more than anyone else.
It is because Allah has ordered us to respect the Messenger;. He has told us that the Messenger (S) was on an exalted standard of character. Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. He has also ordered us to send blessings upon him whenever his name is mentioned.

The Prophet himself has said that no one will become a true believer unless the Prophet becomes dearer to him than anyone else. He (S) has also said that he who loves him will be in Paradise with him.

So, it is a part of our religion to respect and love the Messenger.

May Allah increase his love in our hearts.

£9.50

The Greatest Invocation of Forgiveness

£5.00

Shaikh Abdul-Razzaaq Ibn Abdul-Muhsin al-Badr | Dar as-Sunnah Publishers

Beseeching Allāh for forgiveness is amongst the greatest means in getting close to Him and attaining His Pleasure in this world and the Hereafter. In the noble Prophetic guidance, the Messenger of Allāh said the best du’a (invocation) by which forgiveness should be sought is called ‘Sayyid Al-Istighfār’. It is composed of a few words with profound meanings, which the Prophet keenly taught his ‘Ummah. He said, ‘Whoever reads it during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise. And whoever reads it at night with firm faith in it and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” [Al-Bukhari, 6306]

Before you dear reader is a small contemporary work explaining the immense benefits of
‘Sayyid Al-Istighfār’. It should be memorised by every Muslim and its meanings understood and internalised for heightened impact and benefit. The author (may Allāh bless him) discusses the du’a, elucidating its beautiful composition correctly, and explaining the meaning of repentance, its importance and Allāh’s Love for those who turn to Him in true repentance.

The Prophet (PBUH) and His Ten Companions Who Were Promised Paradise – Abdul Ghani al-Maqdisi

£14.95

Al-Hafidh Abdul-Ghani Al-Maqdisi | Authentic Statements

It is unfortunate that there are young Muslims who have been raised by Muslim parents but have not read the biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) even one time, while they have heard the names of hundreds of disbelievers and other Muslim personalities. In truth, this is a deficiency from the parents, because the mind and heart of the child is like a vessel – if you fill it with good, it will be filled with good, and if you fill it with evil, then evil will occupy it.

Al-Hafidh Abdul-Ghani Al-Maqdisi | Authentic Statements

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and His Ten Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) by Al-Hafidh Abdul-Ghani Al-Maqdisi (600 AH) Explained by Shaykh Muḥammad bin ‘Abdul-Wahhaab al-‘Aqil. And if you neglect these vessels, someone else will fill them. It is upon the Muslim fathers to fear Allāh the Exalted and to fill the hearts and minds of their children with the sīrah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)and the sīrah of his Companions, so they can take them as their role models. The youth will definitely take someone as a role model. If you make the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) their role model, they will succeed in this life and the next.  If not, others will give them role models, such as athletes, actors, and singers. Thus, fear Allah, O noble fathers, concerning your children

Save Yourself And Your Family From The Hellfire by Shaykh Al-Allaamah Abdul Azzez Ibn Baaz

£12.00

A compilation from the works of Shaykh Al-Allaamah Abdul Azeez Ibn Baaz (The Obligation of Protecting Yourself and Family from the Fire) and Shaykh Abdullah Bin Uthmaan Ath-Thamaaree (The fire,it lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburnt] )

Excerpt:

He (Sallahu alayhi wa salam) said,

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh a little and cry a lot, and you would not have pleasure with women in bed, and you would have left to an elevated area supplicating ardently to Allah.”

If we knew what was with Allah from the (different) types of punishment and the distress and hardships, we would not have pleasure with women in bed; rather, our feet would not remain at home, and we would go out in the roads supplicating to the Lord of the worlds to save us from His punishment. This is the speech of our Prophet (Sallahu alayhi wa salam). O noble Muslim, in these two tremendous hadeeth are an indication of a tremendous painful punishment that is being saved with Allah for the sinners, as well as a difficult distressful torment that is being saved with the Lord of the worlds for the disobedient. Take heed. What is astonishing is he who laughs and his heart is at ease, and he is falling into sin and he does not know where his end will be. What are amazing are us, O brothers. How are we heedless about that which is waiting for us? Glorified is Allah, did not we read the Quran? Of course; by Allah, did not we read the sunnah? Certainly; therefore, what is wrong with us? Indeed, there is a barrier between understanding the Quran and the Quran entering the hearts, and between our hearts. There are barriers of sins that have blocked the Quran from entering the hearts.

“Do they not reflect about the Quran? Or, are (their) hearts closed up?”

Our Obligations Concerning the Companions – Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Badr

£7.50

A small excerpt from the book: The topic of this discussion is entitled “Our obligation concerning the noble companions” (May Allāh be pleased with them); which is an enormous duty and a great demand (by Islām) that is fitting for us all to peek our interest and devote the utmost concern for. The honored reader should also know that our obligation to the companions is a part of our obligation to our religion is a part of our obligation to our religion; the religion of Islām which Allāh has approved for His servants. No other religion besides it will not be accepted from them as Allāh says, “Truly, the religion with Allah is Islām.” [Sūrah ʿAli ʿImrān 3:19] Likewise, Allāh says, “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter, he will be one of the losers.” [Sūrah ʿAli ʿImrān 3:85] This true religion and straight path is the religion of Allāh. Allāh selected a trustworthy Messenger; one who is a sincere advisor and wise; an honored Messenger who is Muḥammad (Peace be upon him). He conveyed this religion in a complete manner, explained it fully; and established what His Lord ordered in the most perfect aspect and circumstance as Allāh ordered him, “O Messenger (Muhammad)! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve.” [Sūrah al-Mā’idah 5:67]

If a sick person went to the doctor for treatment and was advised to avoid certain delicious foods to preserve his health, he would believe the doctor and comply with the doctor’s orders. Despite this, we see many people disobeying Allāh and His Messenger by leaving off the obligations while doing prohibited actions; although he reads and hears the commands and prohibitions. He knows the permissible and the impermissible. Therefore, is the doctor more truthful to them than Allāh, the Exalted? Or is their sickness more severe to them than the Hellfire?

All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds. I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except for Allah alone, He has no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, peace be upon him, his family and his companions. To proceed:

This is because it entails pieces of advice needed by every person desiring felicity in both worlds”. Ibn Uthaymin describes the exceptionality of these golden bits of advice, saying: ‘ In reality, these are guidelines. If while encountering  these bits of advice you recorded and took note of them, and then transferred them to a specified notebook, it would prove to be of a great benefit and reference source for you. That is because these are guidelines that you won’ find anywhere except in this book.

Silent Moments The Description of Before & After Death Aspects – Abdul-Malik Al-Qasim (Darussalam)

£3.50

Silent Moments The Description of Before & After Death Aspects By Abdul-Malik Al-Qasim   Abu Hazim said: “Trade of the Hereafter is not sought after, and whatever is left of it, is about to finish! As a result, no part of it, minor or major, will remain.” Whenever the light went out in the house of Hisham bin Abu Abdullah, he would turn around in his bed until his wife brought a light for him. So she asked him why he felt anxious when the light went off and he replied, “When the light goes off, I remember the darkness of the grave.” This is why AI-Mu’tasim used to say when he was dying, “If I knew that my life would be this short, I would not have committed what I committed.” Also, Caliph AI-Muntasir said at the time of death, when he was wished well, “All will happen except being well! Life has gone away and the Hereafter has come.” Ibn Mas’ud ~ once said: “The believer will not attain comfort until he meets Allah” Life is Just like a dream that passes as fast as clouds. It is a mere hour of time that soon fades away. It is a journey that has already started and will soon come to an abrupt end.

The Future of Islam in Occident and Orient – Murad Wilfried Hofmann

£6.50

The topic of this book preoccupies the minds of many reasearchers and educationists: is knowing the future of Islam a matter of the unseen that Allah alone knows about? Or it is one of the phenomena that are subject to an objective study and scientific analysis? Or i is, moreover, a treatise which is based on Sayings the Prophet (pbuh) narrated about the spread of his religion and its advanced and retreat?
After all, the personal element intervenes and the subjective views impact proofs for or against the topic!
Accordingly, let’s have a stop and acquaint ourselves with two contrasting options presented in this book. Afterwards, we have to return to our own selves and give judgement. This is because the topic is highly dellicate and highly significant.
On the is basis of that judgement we probably should ask ourselves: ” How far are we from it?” and ” What should we do?”

Al-Kabair (Major Sins) – Imaam Shamsu el-Deen al-Dahabi

The major sins are those acts which have been forbidden by Allah in the Quran and by His Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in the Sunnah (practise of the Prophet), and which have been made clear by the actions of of the first righteous generation of Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) There is some difference of opinion among scholars in this regard. Some say these major sins are seven, and in support of their position they quote the tradition: ‘Avoid the seven noxious things’- and after having said this, the prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) mentioned them: ‘associating anything with Allah; magic; killing one whom Allah has declared inviolate without a just case, consuming the property of an orphan, devouring usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.’ (Bukhari and Muslim) ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas said: ‘Seventy is closer to their number than seven,’ and in this book Imam ad-Dhahabi goes through the 70 Major Sins Supported by the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

A Summary of the Creed of as-Salaf as-Saalih (The righteous Predecessors)- Darussalam

£1.50

A creed is a set of fundamental beliefs and guiding principles of a religion. A religion or sect differs from another if its beliefs and principles are different. At the present time we find many religions and numerous sects of each religion in this world, while the Creator of this world has prescribed a simple and straight forward religion for us. He sent many Messengers and Prophets to various nations at different times to propagate His Message to mankind. But the people after those Messengers and Prophets changed their beliefs, thus deviating from the original religion. This went on until Allah sent his Last Messenger (S) to mankind.

So it is our duty now to guard against deviation from the fundamental beliefs and principles of the only one religion, Islam, that was sent by Allah from the existence of this world.

This book clearly defines the creed which the Last Messenger (S) has taught us. We should adhere to this creed to save our religion and to worship Allah according to the correct way which was the way of the Prophet (S), his Companions, the successors of the Companions, and the followers of the successors.

May Allah help us all in this great task which requires our full attention as our whole life has to be spent according to it.
